As an adolescent I was always intrigued by the competitive nature of progressing one's growth through team sports. As I transitioned my career into one of visual documentation, this idea of self growth has evolved out from that initial exploration of competition towards something new. This new way of seeing inspires me to challenge the relationship between players as subjects, and venue as space. This curious relationship is translated into a unique visual language when subject is removed from its space, space is without subject, or concepts of time and action deviate from our ideas of visual truth.
